The star-shaped holes really do make water drain faster than a standard round colander—drained a whole pound of pasta in seconds. It’s sturdy but lightweight enough to hang on a hook without bending.

I was skeptical about the star-shaped holes being a gimmick, but they really do drain vegetables faster without letting anything slip through. The clear design also means I can pop it right on the counter without it looking cluttered.

I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy it feels despite its simple look. The star-shaped holes work well for rinsing berries without them falling through. Only wish it were a bit larger for bigger pasta batches.
