The extra-wide rim makes it easy to pour out water without any spillage, perfect for rinsing a big batch of spinach. I also appreciate how the handle stays sturdy even when it's fully loaded. Definitely a step up from my old plastic colander.

The ridges on the bottom hold greens above the water line, so my salad isn’t sitting in a puddle. Finally, a colander that feels thoughtfully designed for actual cooking.

The big bowl drains a whole head of lettuce without me having to do it in batches, which is exactly what I needed. Water runs off fast and the colander sits steady on the counter. Glad I sized up to the large one.
