The clever design really shows once you start using it — the water drains away cleanly and quickly without any mess. I’ve washed a whole head of lettuce in it and everything came out perfectly dry.

Finally a colander big enough to handle a full head of lettuce without having to do it in batches. The wide rim sits perfectly on my mixing bowl, making draining pasta without spills so much easier.

I've been using this colander for a few weeks now, and the wide base really does make it easy to wash a whole head of lettuce without overcrowding. The drainage holes are perfectly sized so nothing falls through, which is great for rinsing quinoa.
